Folks as some of you know the Metro Chapter of the Pacific Green Party is a Participating Organization in the EcoNvergence
Convention that is happening Oct 2-4 in Portland. The key note speakers are Noam Chomsky & Derrick Jensen.

The Green Party will be providing facility volunteers and workshops/speakers. There will be a general call for
Green party volunteers later as I get more details, but for now if you can do American Sign Language or act as an interpreter
For Spanish (Mexican) speaking presenters we’d like you to contact me now – since I will be coordinating that effort.

If you are a card carrying green and volunteer at the convention, we’ve just ordered a bunch of t-shirts that will help make our party visible at the convention… so come for the speakers, the workshops, or to help support the visibility of your local party and remind
fellow progressive there is an alternative to Democrats and Republicans.

This is a regional convention pulling coordinators from Washington, Idaho and Oregon – so even if you are not in the Metro Chapter,
Please contact me, latter we will be asking local Greens to volunteer crash space in their homes for the out of town Greens who want to
Attend – this invitation will be extended to out of state greens to – so if you are a local Portland Green, start to think about if you are
Willing to house share for a great weekend!!
